Slinger is an Enemy in Assassin's Creed Valhalla (ACV). Enemies are hostile humans and creatures that will confront Eivor and his allies. Some enemies are also NPCs who can be challenged for Battles. Special, powerful enemies can be found under Bosses.
Out of their element on the battlefield, these hapless souls are nonetheless annoyingly accurate with the ol' slingshot.
However, no one ever trained them to really fight, and they'd much rather be someplace else.
